I had some time recently to surf around the net and check up on the people / sites that I visited on regular basis at one point in time. And you know what ? - I really didn't miss anything at all. Infact I'am now convinced that the world as we know it is going to hell.

Brent, the somewhat famous creator of virginworlds who managed to somehow convince few dozen people who have been slaving away on their podcasts to not only provide him with free content, advertise his site in their podcasts but also ( and this is what really impresses me ) but also to donate money to him. Yes, thesame Brent we all love and cherish now seems to be only interested in SOE ( I mean come oOOOooon ! ) games. That's just the tip of the iceberg, he now is fascinated with free to play online worlds for kids ? Oh man, how much bullshit can one person take. Metaverse, Free Realms Online, Hello Kitty Online and The Agency. Did Brent somehow undergo a regression of some kind ? It's like all the memories of playing mmos in the past years have been wiped clean ( I have a sneaking suspicion that SOE had something to do with it, infact I'am sure of it ). Before we move on I would feel guilty if I did not mmention that some of the podcasts available on his site are simply superb ! No Prisoners, No Mercy and either one of the EvE Online podcasts being imho the very best of the bunch. Agree or not visit his site and check it out for yourself :)

That experience was a little more then disturbing. But then, after loosing my faith almost completely, then, I came upon the absolute worse forum cesspool of evil. An Evil cesspool if you will.

MMORPG.com has always been a really good site. Not only that they have some very cool people on there. Why then oh why does this site now concern itself mainly with free to play Asian mmo garbage ? No idea here either, but what gets me the most is the ammount of negativity on their forums. MMORPG.com forums are pure Evool. It's like every single person on there has one, and only one goal in life, and that's to make you feel like shit about everyone and everything. Do yourself a favor and don't read the forum dedicated to your game, it will just piss you off. It does not matter really what game it is, any one really. One thing you have to give 'em is that they are all consistent - everyone seems to hate every game equally.

After looking around a little today I just get this weird feeling that the mmmorpg "social" landscape looks more like wasteland of hate with few islands of civility. Obviously nobody out there believes in karma. The more I read and listen to other peoples opinions, previews and reviews of games the more I come to conclusion that I should just stop listening to everyone, every time I do it tends to leave me with an unpleasant aftertaste. Well , what can I say....time to go back to the Vault and wait out until the radioactive desert that is mmorpg gaming scene is once again safe to travel in, if ever.

The account management page is now open for entering CE keys ! The first 50,000 people get access to...hmm.. forgot what it was but I'am sure it's super cool :D

Damn this is pretty exciting time, I mean this is by far the biggest and coolest mmorpg launch since..who knows it;s been such a long time since we got a decent mmorpg. Everyone here at mmorpgslave and our Warhammer Online guild ( We Are Right ) are super excited abotu this game and can;t wait to play at head start !

Any Star Trek geeks out there ? ;) Well I'am one and Star Trek Online is something that I frankly have not even dreamed about until recently ( It just seemed too good to ever come to fruition ).

This is sure to be something that most of sci-fi geeks like me will want to try, I mean come on it's Star Trek Online - How could you not try it ? I'am really looking forward to this game and youc an bet I will follow the updates up on our website.

I know this will be a little disappointing to some...ahh hell this is crap - I can't go to PAX. I know many of you were really looking forward to seeing me going to conventions doing exclusive footage & interviews but it's just not going to happen anytime soon. It frustrates me to no end 'couse I get all these e-mails from all these super great gaming companies ( everyone including EA / Mythic ) I have this incredible opportunity here to sit down with some of the coolest people in mmorpg scene and talk to them in person.....aaaanndd I can't do it.

It all comes down to $ and not having enough of it. So unfortunately I'am forced to delay "the big bang" until next year. Hopefully by then I will be able to finance some trips to conventions and dev HQ's to do interviews and such. And then we will take this portal to a whole new lvl. For now we'll continue with the business as usual ;)
